Finasteride

Anyone have experience good or bad with Finasteride? Forgive me if there are any posts about it already being kind of lazy lol. Just got a script of it started yesterday.

I’ve heard it’s not worth the risk versus reward. Plus it’s something you have to continually take

I had some sort of topical solution that I was using on my ever increasing bald spot. It was working. I was growing hair back BUT it required two applications a day… I got weary of that quickly. It just didn’t mean that much to me.

So here I am a decade later rocking a righteous bald spot.

Hair loss, been shaving it for last 2 years but the wife confessed she misses my hair so figured I’d give it a shot for her

I also tried that solution and had good results I believe it’s called Minoxidil, the twice a day application gets old quick, but they now also have it in a tablet. Dr told me to do both for best results but want to mitigate sides so start with the Fin

For the record… I’m the only one in all my family lineage dating back to pre civil war that has hair loss. Go figure.
